\n<\/em>I started practicing swimming when I was 3 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When did you decide to take swimming at a competitive level?
\n<\/em>I decided to do so when I was 8 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How many times do you currently train per week?
\n<\/em>I train 9 times a week. These total up to 13\u00bd hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Have you recently participated in any competitions?
\n<\/em>Yes, a competition in the UK, where I won 7 gold medals including the: 50m Backstroke, 50m butterfly, 100m freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Medley, 200m Medley and 200m Breaststroke.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following this, I took part in the \u2018Nationals\u2019 at \u2018Tal-Qroqq Sports Complex\u2019, where I won 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. I also did some \u2018personal bests\u2019 within my age group in the 50, 100 and 200m breaststroke.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What target do you have for the future?
\n<\/em>My goal is to take part in the Olympics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What advice would you give to those students who would like to start practicing swimming?
\n<\/em>My advice is that swimming is a sport discipline which builds strength, great for people with injuries, relaxes your mind and takes away stress off your body. In addition, swimming is fun and keeps you fit and healthy.<\/strong><\/p>\n
