We hope that you’re excited as much as we are to return back to school for scholastic year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣–2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣2️⃣
Here are some useful tips to help make your experience at school more fun and productive (we saved the best and most important one for last):
🎒Every evening make sure you prepare and pack all the things you’ll need for the following day at school (📚books based on your timetable, 👕uniform, 🥪lunch, etc.)
⏰ Make sure you set an alarm to wake up in the morning. Arriving to school on time is important.
😷Masks must be worn at all times at school and it is important to maintain a safe social distance from each other. Let’s help keep each other safe and #beatcovid19together
✅ Set a schedule. Do you work better right after school or after you’ve eaten dinner? Are you more productive in 90-minute blocks or half-hour spurts? Find a schedule that works for you, and stick to it.
❓ Ask questions. You’re in school to learn, so don’t be afraid to do just that! Asking for help – from a teacher, an Assistant Head or your friends – is a surefire way to make sure you truly understand the material.
👍Respect each other at all times. It is important that we always show respect to everyone at school – teachers, members of staff and fellow students.
📋Get organised. Make sure you keep your notes organised in the respective file for each subject and take mote of your HW in your school diary. 💻 Check MS teams regularly for updates from your teachers.
✍️ Take notes. Taking notes will not only keep you more engaged during class, but will also help you narrow down what you need to study when exam time rolls around. It’s much easier to reread your notes than to reread your entire textbook!
😀 HAVE FUN. Enjoy your friends’ company, participate and involve yourself in school life. Various opportunities will be coming your way at school throughout the year – competitions, activities and some surprises too – make sure to make the most out of your time at school by getting involved in school life 👊
