Our 10.1 students have just finalised another intensive module as part of the Prince’s Trust programme: the Community Project. Since last year, they have shown an interest in organising one of our Home Economics labs in our school.
Their goal was to provide a more positive experience to both students and teachers making use of this lab. This project gave our students the opportunity to practise important skills such as teamwork, communication, problem solving, project planning, time management as well as organising.
In their own words, this project not only gave them more self-confidence, but it also made them appreciate our school by becoming more active members of its community!
