The National Literacy Agency’s Reading Stars initiative, celebrates and rewards a love of reading. Parents and educators were encouraged to nominate students with a passion for reading.
Outstanding submissions were selected and students were rewarded with certificates and book vouchers sponsored by Merlin Library during a presentation ceremony, held on 21 November 2025.
Congratulations to Alexander Matthew Costigan of Year 7.11 who has been awarded a certificate in recognition of his achievement in writing his own short stories in both English and Maltese. He chose to read his story titled “The Broken Time Machine.” A big well done!
